Distinguish the exchange file from the wallet balance
Start by identifying what is missing: the XMR deposit in the tracking, the expected outgoing XMR payment, or the ability to spend XMR that are already displayed. These three situations do not indicate the same failure. In Atlaswap, a verified deposit does not yet prove payment to the destination. Find the exchange reference, the current status and, where available, the outgoing payment reference.
Check synchronization and the correct account
A Monero wallet must scan the chain to find its transactions. An incomplete synchronization can leave the balance incorrect or prevent sending. Check its connection and progress, then the selected Monero account: some wallets separate balances by account. After restoring, a start date that is too recent may exclude older transfers from the search. Use your wallet's restore or rescan instructions; do not repeat a deposit to make the first one appear.
Compare total balance and available amount
Monero distinguishes the total balance from the unlocked balance, which can be spent. New funds received normally require 10 confirmations to become available. The block rate varies: converting this number into a certain availability time would be misleading. A send can also leave change temporarily locked. Check the available amount and the fees needed for the next transfer. The Atlaswap journey separately requires sufficient confirmations and effectively unlocked funds.
Prepare a verification suited to Monero
A hash identifies a transaction; it does not make its recipient and received amount public. For an XMR deposit processed by Atlaswap, verification relies on the recipient wallet and the link to the file. For an expected XMR payment, check your synchronized wallet and the tracking references. If the information differs, keep the exchange reference, the time, the expected amount and the observed status. Send only the items requested in the official channel of the file, never your wallet secrets.
Frequently asked questions
The wallet shows a balance, but I cannot send all of it: why?
Part of it may be locked pending confirmations, particularly after a receipt or a send. Compare the total balance with the available balance and allow for the transfer fees.
Can a Monero explorer prove that I received the right amount?
The hash alone does not allow it. Monero provides payment proof mechanisms, distinct from a simple public search. For your receipt, first check the synchronized wallet; the Atlaswap tracking separately keeps the deposit and payment references.
Should I send a second deposit if the first remains pending?
No. Keep the existing file and have its amount, network, arrival time and confirmations checked. A new send does not automatically correct the first one and complicates its attribution.
