Have usable XMR for the deposit

Make sure your Monero wallet is synchronized and that the amount to send is available. Recently received funds may still be waiting for confirmations or unlocking. Also plan for the XMR transfer fees. Creating a Atlaswap order does not trigger any debit from the wallet: you make the deposit yourself.

Prepare the correct Bitcoin destination

Copy a BTC receiving address on the Bitcoin network from your destination wallet. The Monero deposit address and the Bitcoin destination have different functions. Check the coordinates in the summary: the tracker does not allow replacing the confirmed destination. If you instead want to receive XMR, select the BTC to XMR conversion.

Keep the Monero deposit reference

After sending, keep the transaction reference and payment details in your wallet. For an exchange processed by Atlaswap, the Monero deposit must be received, confirmed, usable, and attached to the correct order before the payout. An isolated hash is not presented as public proof of the amount received. Do not send wallet secrets in a support request.

Check the final BTC payment

The Bitcoin payment reference is separate from the Monero deposit reference. When the transfer is complete, check the receiving address, amount, and confirmations on Bitcoin or in your wallet. This Bitcoin payment is visible on a public chain: starting from Monero does not make the BTC receipt confidential.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my Monero deposit still waiting?

Sending, confirmations, and availability of funds are separate steps. Check the status of the order and that of the sending wallet. The amount, address, or arrival date may also need verification.

Is the BTC amount guaranteed by the initial quote?

The initial display must be read with its rate conditions. The summary specifies whether the amount is floating or committed and the associated deposit conditions. An estimate alone does not equal a final payment.

Is the Bitcoin receipt private because the deposit is in XMR?

No. The receipt uses Bitcoin, whose transactions are public. The Atlaswap tracking link is private; this access protection does not change the properties of the output network.

Amounts are calculated from updated market data. The summary indicates the proposed amount and the applicable conditions. If the service or rates are unavailable, no exchange can be created. Any checks concern the transaction and the network, without an identity document.
