Start in the destination wallet
Open the receive or deposit section of the wallet that must receive the funds. Select the desired cryptocurrency. If multiple networks are offered, note the one you plan to use. Then verify that the form offers exactly this combination. A network available for the exchange may not be accepted by your receiving wallet.
Distinguish Ethereum and Tron for USDT
Tether notably documents USDT on Ethereum in ERC20 format and on Tron in TRC20 format. These labels identify different networks for the same symbol. In Atlaswap, they appear under the crypto symbol and in the asset search. A network change should lead to verifying again the address given by the receiving wallet.
Check the address and memo
Copy the address from the receive function, then compare it after pasting. Do not take an address found in documentation or that of the token contract. Some wallets also require a memo or tag: copy it when required. An address whose format seems valid does not prove that the network is correct or that you control its recipient.
What to do if the network does not match?
Before a send, return to the choice of pair and network. If your wallet does not support the chosen receive, use a compatible combination or stop the process. After a send on an incorrect network, consult the support indicated in your file and that of the receiving service with the transaction reference. Do not assume that recovery will be possible.
